When I was younger, I loved helping my father with projects around the house. I was very fascinated by the concept of building things. I have always paid close attention to how he built things and operated tools. This is what started my passion for what I do today. I took every opportunity I had to earn money so that I could buy tools of my own. The day I turned 16, I was already submitting applications to local construction companies. It was challenging trying to find an employer who would work with my school schedule.

I was very fortunate to have the opportunity to work with a builder who specialized in doing high-end additions. During my interview, my old boss gave me a piece of advice, he told me to “be a sponge, and absorb as much information as you can.” This piece of advice has carried me through my time in the field and got me to where I am today.

When I am not building things, I enjoy spending time with my family which consists of my parents, siblings and my nieces and nephews, I also enjoy tinkering with my vehicles, riding my motorcycle and watching informational videos about aspects of construction that I am not familiar with.

I hope to instill those values in my sons, who I am very proud of.

I love spending my spare time with my two sons, Mason and Aiden, and my fiance, Angie, an outreach manager at a local nonprofit. We look forward to taking trips to the beach every year. I enjoy playing and watching football with my sons (go Eagles!). With my fiance, we love going out to eat and finding new places. I love being outdoors and am at peace when I’m on a boat in the middle of Lake Erie catching walleye.
